About Me

My name is Charlie Murray, and I am the founder of Snow Bound Tour Co. I am passionate about providing exciting and fun snow tours for young people. I live on the Gold Coast, QLD, and I’ve spent my years chasing winters in the Snowy Mountains of Australia, Canada, Europe, and America.

My Experience

I have a Certificate III in Travel, a Bachelor of Business in Tourism, and a Master of Teaching. I have worked on both sides of the tourism industry as a surf guide in remote Indonesia, a travel agent back in Australia, and a snowboard coach. I am now a school teacher with over 5 years of experience in both Australia and Canada. My studies and career have been filled with snowy adventures, and I’ve taken every chance I could to enjoy them.

Having spent so much time in the mountains, I am equally comfortable on skis as I am on a snowboard. I have competed in all disciplines of snowboarding at a national level and represented Australia and various sponsors. I’m passionate about sharing these experiences to create fun and safe snow adventures for young people.

Our Vision

Our vision is to provide small-group ski and snowboard tours that parents trust and kids enjoy, making the school holidays a better time for everyone.

As a school teacher, I understand the importance of keeping kids engaged, challenged, and giving them room to grow. Being a passionate snowboarder and skier has had a very positive impact on my life. It has provided me with many opportunities to travel, live abroad, and make friends from all over Australia and the world. I owe a lot of this to the camps I attended while at school, and I would like to provide that same experience for others.
