Ski & Snowboard Camps
Competition
The Australian Interschool Championships consist of three tiers: regional, state, and national competitions. The regional competitions are held during the winter school holidays, while State and National titles are held during the term. Our services not only provide an opportunity to compete in all disciplines offered, but also facilitate entries, coaching, and race-day procedures.
The Queensland Regional Championships are held during our second-week camp, and additional camps will be added to accommodate competitors who make it to the State and National Championships.

Northern NSW & Queensland Regional Championships
July 7 - 10 at Thredbo Resort

Queensland State Championships (you must qualify for this)
August 17 - 21 at Perisher Resort

Australian National Championships (you must qualify for this)
September 1 - 6 at Perisher Resort

ALPINE
Skiers are timed on a modified giant slalom course
SKI CROSS
Skiers are timed individually on a course including jumps and high-banked turns
MOGULS
Skiers are scored on a bumps/jumps course
SKI SLOPESTYLE
Skiers are scored on a variety of obstacles including jumps, rails and/or other terrain park features (Division 1-3 only)
CROSS COUNTRY CLASSIC
Skiers use the classic cross country style. Individuals and teams of 3 can enter. There is a mass start.
CROSS COUNTRY RELAY
Three skier relay team event only.
SNOWBOARD GS
Snowboarders are timed on a modified giant slalom course
SNOWBOARD CROSS
Snowboarders are timed individually on a course including jumps and highbanked turns
SNOWBOARD SLOPESTYLE
Snowboarders are scored on a variety of obstacles including jumps, rails and/or other terrain park features (Division 1-3 only)
Other Events
While the Interschools Championship is a great starting point for competing, there are plenty more opportunities to take part in other events throughout the year in all disciplines. I personally competed in additional events beyond Interschools, which I really enjoyed, and I encourage young athletes to explore these opportunities as well.
